Web Developer


As the Senior Web Developer, you will work alongside a talented team of content creators, designers, project and account managers to create and maintain websites that will meet industry best practices and align with client’s goals. Whether you are problem solving a bug or building a brand new site, you are passionate about helping clients find the best solution to their problems.

As a Web Developer, you will work alongside a talented team of marketers and developers to maintain website updates, implement site content changes, and resolve tickets.

You’ll hit the ground running if you have experience updating websites through page builders, have hosting and DNS knowledge and are well versed in updating WordPress plugins.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Own tasks and tickets from assignment to completion including gathering requirements, testing, debugging, deploying and monitoring.
  • Maintain client websites including routine monthly maintenance and security
  • Diagnose and fix technical issues related to client websites.
  • Execute site updates including content changes, new pages, image updates, event management and more.
  • Assist the development team with large projects.
  • Evaluate code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems
  • Collaborate with a team of developers to manage and update existing
  • Participate in peer QA and code reviews.
  • Assist in providing estimates for technical fixes and site updates.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of web development experience
  • Critical-thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, well organized
  • Comfortable working independently or collaboratively in a high-growth, fast-paced environment while achieving benchmarks
  • Experience with WordPress required
  • Understanding of Shopify, PHP, CSS, JavaScript and, iQuery preferred
  • Good customer service skills and are comfortable interfacing with clients on a
    regular basis and know how to ask the right questions to get the job done.
  • Strong written and verbal communication competency
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while working quickly without sacrificing quality.

Things your won’t have to do in this role:

  • Create content, design, project management, SEO, etc.
  • Manage freelance clients or your own pipeline
