New Facebook Layout – Does it affect Ads??
Between last night and this morning there has been an overwhelming amount of chatter on Facebook regarding the new facebook layout and functionality. What we want to know is – How is it affecting your Ads?
A few things to consider. Your Facebook PPC (price per click) is a factor of several elements, for instance:
Demographic – Size and specificity of your demographic
Amount you are willing to pay
CTR – what percentage of viewers click on your ad!
What you may or may not have noticed is that on the Facebook home page most viewing screens will show little or no ads “above the fold”. With the new dynamic content showing up on the top right of the screen you will notice that all the ads are pushed down – quite far actually.
Furthermore if you decide to scroll down, this new dynamic feature added to the top right of the page will actually be shown on top of your ad – giving you a very small area where your ad will be displayed.
